At CPS Space Week 2021 was a very busy week.

  • Hazel and Willow classrooms learned about the planets and created fantastic art pieces.
  • The Oak classroom created the Northern Lights using paints, sponges, stampers and rollers.
  • 1st and 2nd looked at different constellations such as the Big Dipper and the Little Dipper and created their own artistic constellations.
  • 3rd Class focused on astronauts and made space suits from different materials. Ms Drew’s class completed an experiment to investigate “How far can you jump on the moon”
  • 4th Class explored life on the moon and built geodomes. The girls worked together using straws to complete the STEM challenge.
  • 5th Class learned about the International Space Station (ISS). The girls then worked together to create their own space stations. They also took part in an online Space Talk and received special mention from Dr Norah Patten and the Science Guy!
